Just had to write a little bit about my fun weekend and thank the beautiful family and friends in my life for the love they showed me. I usually like to lay low on the b-day, but I have to say I really felt the love this year. I'm blessed to have the greatest family and friends in the world!!! That's worth a celebration in itself. I love you all so very much!:)

Joy School

Marcies first day of what she calls her "preschool". She thought it was so great that she got to go to school like her brothers and sister. She looks so big in this picture. Marcie, you need to stay 2 years old FOREVER!!!!! I love you!

Today my neighbor Jenny and I went shopping. She moved here from Hong Kong and has been here 6 months. It's been fun getting to know her. She is so optimistic and happy all the time. She freaked out at how HUGE Walmart was. She loved it! The things we take for granted huh? I can't imagine what it would be like to be in a country that was so different than what you know and are familiar with, but she does a wonderful job. She is a great example to me on making the best of what your given. Thanks Jenny for the great time today!

Jaden : Hey Al, did you see my first aid kit we made at Scouts?

Allie: That's cool, hey they have those on the bus. They have bandaids and stuff in 'em.

Jaden: Ya, and "alcohol medicine."

Awe... the innocence of childhood. All you need are bandaids and a little alcohol medicine! Good as new.

Favorites

Some of my greatest memories of growing up are around the dinner table. Macky made dinner every night and we would all sit together talking and laughing about the day. Even though dinner time is CrAzY, and I am a no good cooking mama, it is my most favoite time of day when we are all together, around our scratched up table, eating my LOVELY casseroles. I cherish these times, and hope they stay this way for a long time!!!

Saturdays

Marcie thought Scout needed some cooling off...

Allie really wanted to earn some money, so she decided to put her brothers and our neighbor to work so she could earn a couple bucks, stood on the edge of the sidewalk chanting her little heart out-" $1.00 to wach the three kids skate". She made $.50. Better than nothing ...you go girl!!!What a day! I just love this picture.
