Artist

This face looks like one of those freaky aliens form Close Encounters.
All of the kids have been an "artist" once or twice in their lifetime. Little Marcie really seems to have the talent. We are lucky enough to get DAILY masterpieces on the walls.

Loved

This binki has been in the family for almost 9 years now. Each one of the kids have binked on it from time to time. So gross that it's been around for that long, but I have come to cherish this little guy. With as many binks as we've lost thoughout the years (way to many to count), this one for some reason never disappears. I would miss him so if he were ever lost. So here's to you old, white and blue binki. You have been cherished in ways I will never forget and I love you more than you will ever know!!! Thank you for the service you have and continue to render to our family. May we never forget you.

Rear

Tonight we were reading in Alma 52:29- "Now the Lamanites did not know that Moroni had been in their rear with his army...". Graham, now trying to understand, but laughing at the same time asked " in their rear?" When you start to think they aren't listening they suprise you. For some reason it's always words in the scriptures like ass and rear that grabs attention. Hopefully he doesn't repeat it in primary, I can just hear him now... Moroni was talking about his bum in the scriptures. I would DIE!

Late Night

We decided to gather up the gang for some fall break fun, and have a late nighter. We watched "Hickabob", ate up some yummy brownies( thanks Steph), played what time is it Mr. fox?, freeze tag, mother may I, and just had a great time hanging out with all our good buddies. Jaden was haning out at his pals. We missed him, but he was doing big guy stuff! The kids had a great time, and we are super blessed to have such wonderful friends!:)

Joys of motherhood

Ok, this is one stinkin' fit. " No more chocolate milk girl."

The "joy" of motherhood... a binki for a 2 1/2 year old. A binki for a 2 1/2 year old???? Mother of the year , you know it!

Down on the farm

Darren came home from work early Friday and asked if I wanted to take the kiddos to Schnepf farm. I thought it was a great idea, so we loaded the kids up and took off to a wonderful, COOL, Arizona evening with the Fam. The kids had a ball riding all the rides, cheering on their pigs for the pig races, eating hotdogs, and getting lost in the corn maze ( four times). A new found family tradition. We had TONS of fun!

Grammers little, pig won in the pig race. He was awarded this most prized pig nose. Looks good on ya graham man!

Crash of Flight 4o9

Last night we had a wonderful combined Mutual activity. Bishop and Steph and the Harris family planned the night. It was one of those activities that took weeks of planning and preperation. We had the kids think they were coming to an opening social luau style and kept the real activity secret from them so they would be able to have an authentic experience without anyone sharing their past experiences of the activity. We had them get on a "pretend" plane headed for Hawaii. We did the whole, fun plane thing (heard the flight safety info., passed out peanuts and pop, watched a clip from a movie), the kids were having a great time, then suddenly the plane crashed. Two angels came onto the plane and told the kids they needed to follow them. The angels escorted them to each of the degrees of glory, sharing stories and feelings of the difference between the kingdoms. Once the kids got to the Spirit World there was beautiful music playing, soft light with pictures of families all around the room. There, they waited for their names to be called to enter into the Celestial Kingdom. As they walked out of the room, headed for the chapel they were greeted along the path by all their leaders, dressed in white to enter into the Celestial Kingdom. Once everyone was there, Bishop read some scriptures and bore his testimony of the perfect plan of salvation. He then invited the youth to share their feelings if they felt inspired. I was so nervous, hopeing the kids would take the oppertunity to share their feelings of the night. The spirit was so srtong, surely they couldn't deny that. And would you know, we could of sat there for hours hearing these sweet testimonies from the strong and valiant youth. It was a beautiful evening, one I will never forget. I have served in the Young Women's program for many years, and this by far has been the most touching experience I have ever been a part of. I'm so thankful to have heard the testimonies of our youth, they are so strong and such an awesome example to me. I'm grateful for the memories of the beautiful night, it was amazing!
