Most of those that know me well know that my DREAM is to live on a farm someday. Dirt roads, white house with a wrap-a-round porch, cottonwood trees, a cow, some chickens, corn crops... you name it farm style, I want it. Well , it's not happening, so darren brought a little bit of my longing farm to me. While he was home for the last month he was busy making some of my dreams come true and painted our shed out back. Now it's our " barn "minus all the farm stuff that goes inside, but I LOVE IT!!!! Next- Chickens! Let's just hope Scout dosen't think they're lunch.Friday, April 3, 2009
A dream come true

I love it! I can't wait for my chickens either :) I was just saying that this morning!!! We'll have to share chicken tips and secrets (where to get cartens and the easiest way to pluck one etc ;)
I had no idea you wanted to live on a farm! I want the country life too (a cow, some alpacas, lots of land). Now that we live in small town TX, we are planning to get some chickens in a year or so. We should talk more often.
